How to Enable Aero Glass effect in Windows 7


1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "Run" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
3. Now a window will be open named as Run Window.
4. Type "Regedit" and hit enter. if any confirmation window click on yes
5. Now a window will be open named as Registry Editor.
6. click on the tab called HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
and navigate to the following location


HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM


7. On the right hand side of the pane Right click the mouse and create a new DWORD value (32-bit) set the value to 0 and named it as UseMachineCheck.
8. Now repeat the same process and creating DWORD value (32-bit) and set its value to 0 and named it as blur.
9.Again create a new DWORD value (32-bit) with its value to 0 and value named animations.
10.For the changes to take effect, Close the Registry Editor and reboot your PC.
11. After Restrating the system open start and search for CMD, and click Enter.
12.Next type for the command Net Stop uxsms and hit enter then type Net Start uxsms. and hit enter. Now the command will stop and log desktop window Manager.
13.Now to enable Aero by right clicking on the desktop, personlize and colors Windows.

Disable Unwanted Startup Programs in windows 7 / XP

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "msconfig" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
    (In windows XP click Start - Click Run - and type "msconfig" in the Run Window and hit enter)
3.Then a System configuration window opened select the "startup" tab
4.Uncheck the boxes to those processes that are not important for start-up. This will disable them.
5. click Apply and OK.
6. Restart the System.... and Enjoy....

Reset Internet Explorer 7/8/9

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "inetcpl.cpl" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
    (In windows XP click Start - Click Run - and type "inetcpl.cpl" in the Run Window and hit enter)
3.Then Internet Properties Window Opened
4. Click on the Advanced Tab
5. Click the Reset Button
6. In the Message Box check the Delete Personal Settings and click Reset Button
7. After Resetting Click Close Button
8. Restart the Internet Explorer...and Enjoy....

Enable or Disable Secure Log On CTRL+ALT+DELETE in Windows 7

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "netplwiz" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
3. Then the "User Accounts" Window Open
4. Click on the "Advanced Tab"
5. To Enable Secure Log On Check the "Require users to press   

    Ctrl+Alt+Delete"  box
6. To Disable Secure Log On UnCheck the "Require users to press  
 
    Ctrl+Alt+Delete" box
7. Click on "Apply" and Click "OK"
8. Now Log off /Restart the System. Then You can see the difference...and

Using Keyboard as a Mouse by Using MouseKeys

1. Press Alt+Left shift key (Below Caps Lock key) and the Num Lock key
2. Then a "Mouse Keys window" will opened just hit Enter
3. Now you can use your numeric keypad to move the mouse pointer.
4. Numeric Keypad Keys 2,4,6 and 8 used for move the pointer
5. Numeric Keypad Key 5 is used for Left click
6. Numeric Keypad Keys * or - then Press 5 is used for Right Click
7. Numeric Keypad Key 0 and using navigator keys (2,4,6,8) to select the text
8. You can disable this feature by Press again Alt+Left shift key (Below Caps Lock key) and the Num Lock key

Resize and reduce picture size through online

1. Click HERE to enter the online image resizing website
2. Click "Browse Button " to Upload Image.
3. Select the file and click OK. and click on the "upload image" button
4. Now you can see the original image and optimized image
5. You can change width/height of the image
6. Tick the Compare Image Sizes Box and click on "Apply Changes Button"
7. Then you can see different file sized images of your image

3. Then the "Problem Steps Recorder" Application launched
4. Click on the "Start Record" Button Then  Recording will Start
5. When You wish to stop Click On the "Stop Record "Button
6. Then a "Save As" window opened and you can save the file at any location of your computer
7. You can Extract the zip folder and Open the file in any Browser(Internet Explorer, Opera etc)

Prevent users from launching an application In Windows 7

1. Find the Application Location You Installed
2. Select the Application and Right Click on it
3. Select Properties
4. Click on the Security Tab. Then a Window Opened
5. In Top Select the User/ User Group for preventng access to that application
6. In Bottom Select 'Deny' for the 'Read & executable' Permission
6. Click Apply and click Ok
7. Now the Specified user cant access the aplication.. and Enjoy...

Recover Windows 7 Gadjets

Problems

Gadgets may be displayed as black squares.
Gadgets may be displayed that have vertical green lines down the center, or gadgets may not be displayed at all.
Gadgets may have blue exclamation marks next to them.
The Calendar gadget may be displayed as an orange background that does not have dates.

Method 1: 
1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Appearance and Personalization.
2. Under Desktop Gadgets, click Restore Desktop Gadgets installed with Windows.
3. Check the Gadgets... and Enjoy...

Method 2: 
1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Programs.
2. Under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off.
3. Click to clear the Windows Gadgets Platform check box.
4. Click OK for the change to take effect, and then restart your computer.
5. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Programs.
6. Under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off.
7. Click to check the Windows Gadgets Platform check box.
8. Click OK for the change to take effect, and then restart your computer.
9. Check the Gadgets... and Enjoy...

Method 3: 
1. Click Start, and then type regedit in the Search box.
2. Click regedit.exe under Programs.
3. Browse to and select the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0
4. In the right-side pane, right-click 1200, and then click Modify.
5. In the Value data box, type either 1 or 0 to overwrite the existing value of 3.
6. Click OK, and then exit Registry Editor.
7. Check the Gadgets... and Enjoy...

1. Insert Blank CD/ DVD
2. Double Click the CD/ DVD icon
3. Then a Window Appears. Select the Like a USB Flash Drive Option
4. Click Next
5. Click Finish
6. Copy / Delete any Files / Folders to the DVD... and Enjoy....
Method 2
1. Insert Blank CD/ DVD
2. Select and Right Click the CD /DVD Icon
3. Select the Format option
4. Click the Start Button

Enable Administrator User in Windows 7

1. Open Command Prompt with admin rights.
    *Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
2. Type  "NET USER ADMINISTRATOR /ACTIVE:YES" and hit Enter
3.Restart or Log off the system
4. Now You can see the Administrator User in the Login Screen...and Enjoy...

2. Click Here to Download the NetVideoHunter
3. Click On the Install Now Button
4. Restart the Browser
3. You can see the NetVideoHunter icon on the Top left of the Firefox Browser
4. Play any video (YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe, Dailymotion, iFilm, Videoegg, Veoh, Blip.tv,etc) in the Firefox browser then just click the NetVideoHunter icon. Then a Window Open
5. Just select the video and click download
6. After downloading the Video file .... play it and Enjoy....

Prevent Virus Attacks to USB Drive



1.Plug-in your USB flash drive to USB port 
2.Format the Pen drive 
3.Open Command Prompt with admin rights.
    *Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
4.Type Your USB Flash Drive Path (H:) (Here I Assume That USB drive letter is “H”)
  
5.Type "MD autorun.inf" and then hit enter
6.Type "CD autorun.inf" and then hit enter
7.Type "MD Con\"
8.Remove the Pendrive and Enjoy....

Increase Free Space On OS Installed Drive in Windows 7 / Vista


Step 1.  Using Disk Clean up
1. Open My Computer
2. Select the OS Installed Drive And Right Click it.
3. Click Properties
4. Click on "Disk Clean UP" ( This Process May Take  Few Minutes)
5. Tick All the Boxes
6. Then Click OK
7. Repeat Sub-Step  2 to 4
8. Click on " Clean up System Files "
9. Then click Ok
10. Finish
Step 2  Clean Temp Folder
1.Press Windows Key + R (Or  Click the Start Menu  Type "RUN' in the "Search Programs and files" Box ) and Press ENTER
2. Type "TEMP" in the  Run Box  and Press Enter
3. Press Control Key + A ( For Select all the files Or Click "Organize" tab and Click "Select All".
4. Press Shift key +Delete Key (For Removing all files in the Temp Folder)
5 A Confirmation window opened click on "Yes"
6. Finish
Step 3 Clean User Temp Folder
1.Press Windows Key + R (Or  Click the Start Menu  Type "RUN' in the "Search Programs and files" Box)  and Press ENTER
2. Type "%TEMP%" in the  Run Box  and Press Enter
3. Press Control Key + A ( For Select all the files Or Click "Organize" tab and Click "Select All".
4. Press Shift key +Delete Key (For Removing all files in the Temp Folder)
5 A Confirmation window opened click on "Yes" ( Some files cant  deleted then click the 'Skip' Button)
6. Finish
Step 4 Disable Hibernation
1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
2. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
3. When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
4. At the command prompt, type "powercfg.exe /hibernate off ", and then press ENTER. (or type "POWERCFG -H OFF")
5. Type exit and then press ENTER to close the Command Prompt window.
6. Finish
Step 5 Decrease winsxs folder size
1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
2. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
3. When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
4. At the command prompt, type "dism /online /cleanup-image /spsuperseded ", and then press ENTER.
5. Type exit and then press ENTER to close the Command Prompt window.
6. Finish
Step 6 Restart the system.. and Enjoy...

3. Install the Service Pack Or the Office Compatibility Pack.

Install Windows 7 / Vista From USB

Requirements:
*USB Flash Drive (Minimum 4GB)
*Windows 7 or Vista installation files.
Steps
1. Plug-in your USB flash drive to USB port
2. Open Command Prompt with admin rights.
*Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
3. Type in Command prompt DISKPART and hit enter
Next type LIST DISK command and note down the Disk number (ex: Disk 1) of your USB flash drive.
4.Next type all the below commands one by one. Here I assume that your disk drive no is “Disk 1”.If you have Disk 2 as your USB flash drive then use Disk 2.Refer the above step to confirm it.
So below are the commands you need to type and execute one by one:
SELECT DISK 1
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS
(Format process may take few time)
ASSIGN
EXIT
Then Just Minimize the Command Prompt
5. Next insert your Windows7/Vista DVD into the optical drive and check the drive letter of the DVD drive. In this guide I will assume that your DVD drive letter is “D” and USB drive letter is “H” (open my computer to know about it).
6. Maximize the minimized Command Prompt
Type the following command now:
D: CD BOOT and hit enter. Where “D” is your DVD drive letter.
CD BOOT and hit enter to see the below message.
7. Type another command given below to update the USB drive with BOOTMGR compatible code.
BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 H(*I Assume that your USB Drive letter is “H”)
Then you get a message “Bootcode was successfully updated on all targeted volumes”
8. Copy your Windows 7/Vista DVD contents to the USB flash drive.
9. Your USB drive is ready to boot and install Windows 7/Vista. Only thing you need to change the boot priority at the BIOS to USB from the HDD or CD ROM drive.
10. Install your Windows From USB Drive…. And Enjoy!!!!!
