Enable Send Keys Functions in Windows 7


1.Login as administrator or  powered user
2.Select Control Panel and select view by small icons
3.Select on User Accounts
4.Click on Change User Account Control Settings. Then a User Account Control Settings Window will opened
5. Move the Bar to Bottom side (to the never notify) and click ok
6.Restart the System and check the program that using send keys
7.And enjoy....

Change Drive Icons In Windows 7 / Vista

1. Create a folder in any drive and named it as "HardDriveIcons"
2. Copy the downloaded or created icons to this folder(All icons should be 256x256 in size with .ico extension)
3. Open Regedit4. Navigate to  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes
5. Find the "Applications" key(if that key does not exist, create it by right clicking on "Classes", then "New", then "Key", name it as "Applications", then hit Enter)
6. Under "Applications" expand "Explorer.exe", then "Drives" (if neither of those sub-keys exist, create "Explorer.exe" by right clicking "Applications", then "New", then "Key", name it, then hit Enter. Create "Drives" by right clicking "Explorer.exe", then "New", then "Key", name it as "Drives", then hit Enter)
7. Under "Drives" create new keys for each drive using the drive letter as the name, then under each drive, create a new sub-key and name it "DefaultIcon")
8. Click on DeafultIcon key for the specified Drive folder  and in the right pane  right click on Default, then click on "Modify", then in the "Value Data" box, enter the location of your hard drive icon,
(Eg:  D:/HardDriveIcons/Hicon1.ico)
9. Exit and check the Hard Drive Icons and Enjoy...

How to Enable Aero Glass effect in Windows 7


1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "Run" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
3. Now a window will be open named as Run Window.
4. Type "Regedit" and hit enter. if any confirmation window click on yes
5. Now a window will be open named as Registry Editor.
6. click on the tab called HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
and navigate to the following location


HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM


7. On the right hand side of the pane Right click the mouse and create a new DWORD value (32-bit) set the value to 0 and named it as UseMachineCheck.
8. Now repeat the same process and creating DWORD value (32-bit) and set its value to 0 and named it as blur.
9.Again create a new DWORD value (32-bit) with its value to 0 and value named animations.
10.For the changes to take effect, Close the Registry Editor and reboot your PC.
11. After Restrating the system open start and search for CMD, and click Enter.
12.Next type for the command Net Stop uxsms and hit enter then type Net Start uxsms. and hit enter. Now the command will stop and log desktop window Manager.
13.Now to enable Aero by right clicking on the desktop, personlize and colors Windows.

Windows Key Shortcuts (in Windows 7)

Win+Up Maximise

Win+Down Restore/Minimise

Win+Left Snap to Left

Win+Right Snap to Right

Win+Shift+Left Jump to Left Monitor

Win+Shift+Right Jump to Right Monitor

Win+Home Minimise/Restore all other Windows

Win+T Focus the first taskbar entry/Pressing again will cycle through them, you can can arrow around.Win+Shift+T cycles backwards.

Win+Space Peek at the desktop

Win+G Bring gadgets to the top of the Z-order

Win+P External display options (mirror, extend desktop, etc)

Win+X Mobility Center (same as Vista, but still handy!)

Win+a number key Launches a new instance of the application in the current number slot on the taskbar.

Example: Win+1 launches first pinned app, Win+2 launches second, etc.

(plus or minus key) Zoom in or out.

Disable Unwanted Startup Programs in windows 7 / XP

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "msconfig" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
    (In windows XP click Start - Click Run - and type "msconfig" in the Run Window and hit enter)
3.Then a System configuration window opened select the "startup" tab
4.Uncheck the boxes to those processes that are not important for start-up. This will disable them.
5. click Apply and OK.
6. Restart the System.... and Enjoy....

Reset Internet Explorer 7/8/9

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "inetcpl.cpl" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
    (In windows XP click Start - Click Run - and type "inetcpl.cpl" in the Run Window and hit enter)
3.Then Internet Properties Window Opened
4. Click on the Advanced Tab
5. Click the Reset Button
6. In the Message Box check the Delete Personal Settings and click Reset Button
7. After Resetting Click Close Button
8. Restart the Internet Explorer...and Enjoy....

Enable or Disable Secure Log On CTRL+ALT+DELETE in Windows 7

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type "netplwiz" in the Search Programs and files box and hit enter
3. Then the "User Accounts" Window Open
4. Click on the "Advanced Tab"
5. To Enable Secure Log On Check the "Require users to press   

    Ctrl+Alt+Delete"  box
6. To Disable Secure Log On UnCheck the "Require users to press  
 
    Ctrl+Alt+Delete" box
7. Click on "Apply" and Click "OK"
8. Now Log off /Restart the System. Then You can see the difference...and 

    Enjoy...
